LOST ARTS

HALLOWEEN GATHERING AFTER PARTY

To cap off Chicago Cultural Mile's annual Halloween Parade, we produced an evening of creative festivities. During the night, over 300 attendees came to Lost Art's 15,000 square foot warehouse to get down, drink up, play music and get weird.

Planning and partnering

After talking through the concept with The Chicago Cultural Mile and Environmental Encroachment, we began planning a wild party packed with entertainment and creativity. First, we partnered with Perrier, Virtue Cider, Goose Island and Pipeworks who provided plenty of libations to keep our guests merry. Then, we curated an eccentric mix of activations - from Brazilian dancing to an interactive projection cube. We also designed the event graphic and led promotion.

Coming together

At the afterparty, guests danced to the music of Environmental Encroachment and the Jefferson Street Marching Band. They experienced carnival with the Brazilian Cultural Center of Chicago, Bacteria Quilombola, Dill Costa Dance Group, and others. They made music with Shortwave's interactive projection art. And, they got lost in creative work from the Lost Arts community. It was a wild rumpus of a night that brought different people and arts together within one dynamic experience.
